1. Introduction

Welcome to ColdLog. This Privacy Policy explains how data is handled when you use our mobile application ("App").

Our Privacy Philosophy: ColdLog is offline-first. Your cold plunge sessions, notes, and preferences stay on your device unless you explicitly export them or grant optional health permissions.

2. Information You Provide (Local Data)

The following information is created by you and stored locally on your device. We do not operate an account system and we do not transmit this data to our servers:

• Session logs: duration, temperature, mood, notes, and related session metadata.
• Breathwork / timer state: in-progress and completed session state used to resume after interruptions.
• App preferences: settings such as units, notification toggles, and unlock state mirrors.

Note: If you delete the app without a device backup, locally stored session history may be permanently lost.

3. Apple Health (HealthKit)

If you grant permission, ColdLog may read Heart Rate Variability (HRV) and heart rate from Apple Health to show recovery context before and after sessions. ColdLog does not write health data to Apple Health.

You can revoke access anytime in iOS Settings > Privacy & Security > Health.

4. Purchases

Lifetime unlock purchases are processed by Apple. We use RevenueCat to validate entitlements. Purchase receipts / anonymous App Store identifiers may be processed for restore and entitlement checks. We do not receive your full payment card details.

5. Analytics, Ads, and Tracking

ColdLog does not use third-party advertising SDKs and does not sell personal data. We do not build advertising profiles from your session content.

6. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. Data may be processed by Apple (App Store / HealthKit) and RevenueCat (purchase entitlement validation) only as needed to provide the App.

7. Children's Privacy

ColdLog is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

8. Your Choices

• Revoke HealthKit access in iOS Settings.
• Export or delete local session data from within the App (where available).
• Uninstall the App to remove local app storage from the device.
