Terms of Service - ColdLog: Plunge & Ice Bath

1. Agreement

These Terms govern your use of ColdLog: Plunge & Ice Bath (the "App"), provided by Çağatay Erkin Eren ("we," "us," or "our"). By installing or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App. Our Privacy Policy explains how information is handled.

2. App Features

ColdLog provides tools to time and record cold-water sessions, log related notes and mood, use guided breathwork timers, review goals and progress, view optional recovery context from Apple Health, and export session records. Features may change or be unavailable from time to time.

3. Health and Safety

ColdLog is a tracking and informational tool. It is not medical advice, diagnosis, treatment, or a safety assessment. Cold-water immersion and breathwork can cause serious harm. Cold water can trigger cold shock and hypothermia; breath-holding can lead to fainting, and immersion can create a drowning risk. ColdLog does not assess your health, monitor your body or water continuously, supervise a session, or contact emergency services.

• Ask a qualified healthcare professional before beginning cold exposure or breathwork if you have a health condition, take medication, or are unsure whether the activity is appropriate for you.
• Do not perform breath-holding exercises in or near water. Do not rely on the App's timer, session log, or HRV display to determine a safe water temperature or duration.
• Use a safe environment and appropriate supervision. Stop if you feel unwell and seek medical or emergency assistance when needed.

Apple Health and HRV information is for general recovery context only. It does not determine whether cold exposure is safe for you or predict a medical outcome. We do not guarantee any benefit or result from using the App.

4. Your Records and Use of the App

• You retain ownership of session notes and other content you enter. The App stores session history locally and does not provide an account-based cloud backup.
• You are responsible for keeping your device secure and for exporting or backing up records you want to preserve. If you share an export, you are responsible for how the receiving app or service handles it.
• You agree not to use the App unlawfully, interfere with its security or operation, bypass paid access controls, or copy and commercially redistribute our original content without permission.

5. Purchases

ColdLog may offer monthly or annual subscriptions and a one-time lifetime purchase. The products available, price, billing period, and any renewal terms are shown by the App Store or Google Play before you confirm a purchase. A subscription renews automatically unless you cancel it through the relevant store before the next renewal. You can manage or cancel a subscription in your store account settings. Cancellation normally takes effect at the end of the current paid period. A one-time purchase does not renew. RevenueCat helps validate purchases and manage premium entitlements.

Apple or Google handles payment and refund requests under its store rules. We cannot issue a direct refund for a store transaction. If you downloaded the App from Apple's App Store, Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies.

6. Third-Party Services

Apple Health, the app stores, RevenueCat, Aptabase, and Sentry may support features or diagnostics as described in the Privacy Policy. Each provider operates under its own terms and policies. We do not control third-party services or guarantee their availability.

7. License and Intellectual Property

The App, its software, design, and original content are owned by us or our licensors and protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a personal, limited, non-transferable license to use the App for your own non-commercial purposes in accordance with these Terms. All other rights are reserved.

8. Availability and Liability

The App is provided on an "as available" basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted service, error-free operation, or that the App will work on every device. Session records may be lost if your device is damaged, reset, or the App is removed; export any data you want to keep.

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability or consumer rights that cannot be excluded under applicable law. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the App or reliance on its informational content.

9. Changes and Governing Law

We may change or discontinue features and may revise these Terms when the App or applicable law changes. We will update the date above and provide notice when required. These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye, subject to mandatory consumer-protection rights and rules that apply where you live. Disputes will be handled by the competent courts and authorities under applicable law.
