Privacy Policy - Disc Golf Putting Coach

Last Updated: October 8, 2026
Effective Date: September 30, 2026

1. About This Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how Çağatay Erkin Eren ("we," "us," or "our") handles information when you use Disc Golf Putting Coach (the "App"). The App does not require an account. Practice records and preferences are stored on your device. Certain analytics, diagnostic, and purchase information may be processed by the providers described below.

2. Information Stored on Your Device

The App stores information in a local SQLite database, including:

We do not operate an account system or a company server that stores your practice records. The App can be used offline. Your device's operating system or backup provider may include App data in a device backup according to your settings. Uninstalling the App may remove its local database, while copies in device backups may remain.

3. Product Analytics

In builds configured with an Aptabase app key, the App sends product analytics events to Aptabase. Events describe app opens, onboarding completion, practice starts and saves, routine saves, paywall views, plan selections, and purchase or restore outcomes. Event properties may include the feature entry point, plan cycle, whether a practice was completed fully or partially, and buckets for set counts, putt counts, and session duration.

These custom events do not include your session or set notes, routine or putter names, individual make/miss results, or exact set distances. The analytics SDK also receives the app version and may process technical app, platform, operating-system, and session context as described by Aptabase. Aptabase describes its analytics as anonymous and says it does not use persistent device identifiers. Aptabase derives an approximate country and region from the IP address of each request; the IP address itself is not stored. We do not use an advertising SDK or use these events for targeted advertising.

Analytics is initialized automatically when an Aptabase key is present; the App currently has no in-app setting to turn it off. Builds without an Aptabase key do not send these analytics events.

4. Crash and Performance Diagnostics

In builds configured with a Sentry DSN, Sentry may receive crash and error reports, stack traces, and sampled performance information to help diagnose technical problems, together with device details such as device model and operating-system version. Sentry may also attach a random installation identifier generated by the SDK. This identifier resets when the App is reinstalled and is not an advertising identifier. Performance traces are sampled, and profiling is disabled. We do not intentionally attach your practice records or notes to diagnostic reports. Builds without a Sentry DSN, and web builds, do not send Sentry diagnostics. See Sentry's Privacy Policy.

5. Purchases

If you buy or restore DiscGolf Pro, RevenueCat helps verify the purchase and premium entitlement. It may process transaction or receipt information, product and entitlement status, a pseudonymous App User ID, and technical information needed for purchase management. Apple App Store or Google Play processes the payment; we do not receive your full payment card number. See RevenueCat's Privacy Policy, Apple's Privacy Policy, and Google's Privacy Policy.

6. Exporting and Sharing

If you export a backup, the App creates a JSON file containing your sessions, routines, putters, preferences, and any unfinished session. On mobile, you choose what to do with the file using the system share sheet; on web, the file is downloaded to your device. We do not receive a copy through this export feature. Any copy you share or save outside the App is handled by the receiving app or service under its own terms and privacy policy.

7. Retention and Deletion

8. How Information Is Used and Shared

Local records power practice history, progress summaries, routines, and backups. Aptabase supports product analytics, Sentry supports diagnostics when configured, and RevenueCat and the app stores support purchases. These providers process information under their own policies and may operate in countries other than your own. We do not sell personal data.

9. Children's Privacy

The App is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Contact us if you believe a child has provided information through a provider-backed feature.

10. Changes and Contact

We may update this Policy when the App or its data practices change. We will revise the date above and provide an in-app notice when required.
