1. Agreement to Terms

Welcome to Grimoire: Digital Book of Shadows. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of our mobile application and related services (collectively, the "Service").

By downloading, installing, or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use our Service.

2. Description of Service

Grimoire is a mobile application designed to support personal spiritual practice and self-reflection. The Service may help users:

• Explore rituals, moon phase guidance, and spiritual correspondences
• Maintain a personal Book of Shadows and journal entries
• Save favorites and track completed rituals
• Create tarot readings and personal interpretations
• Receive optional reminders for rituals, moon phases, or practice
• Export personal entries or app data for private use

3. Important Disclaimer: Spiritual and Educational Use Only

READ CAREFULLY: Grimoire: Digital Book of Shadows is a spiritual, educational, and self-reflection tool. It is NOT a substitute for professional medical, psychological, legal, financial, or safety advice.

• We do not provide medical, psychological, legal, financial, or emergency services.
• Rituals, tarot readings, moon phase content, and spiritual guidance are provided for personal reflection and entertainment/educational purposes.
• You are solely responsible for decisions, actions, safety precautions, and outcomes related to your spiritual practice.
• If you are experiencing physical danger, psychological distress, or an emergency, please contact qualified professionals or emergency services immediately.

4. User Content and Responsibilities

4.1 Your Personal Content

• Ownership: You retain ownership of journal entries, tarot notes, ritual notes, favorites, and other personal content you create within the App ("User Content").
• Local Storage: User Content is primarily stored locally on your device. You are responsible for keeping your device secure and maintaining backups if you want restore protection.
• Exported Content: If you export or share User Content, you are responsible for protecting it outside the App.

4.2 Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to:

• Use the Service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
• Use rituals, content, or instructions in a way that creates physical danger, property damage, harassment, or harm to yourself or others
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code from the App
• Attempt to bypass subscriptions, premium access controls, or other security mechanisms
• Copy, resell, or redistribute our original content collections for commercial use without permission

5. Payment and Subscription Terms

5.1 Free and Premium Features

• Free Features: Core app features and selected content may be available free of charge.
• Premium Features: Access to expanded rituals, tarot spreads, journaling capacity, exports, or other advanced features may require a premium subscription or purchase.

5.2 Payment Processing

• App Stores: Payments are processed directly through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store.
• RevenueCat: We use RevenueCat to securely manage subscription entitlements and verify your purchase status.
• Auto-Renewal: Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• Refunds: All refunds are handled strictly by Apple or Google under their respective refund policies. We cannot issue direct refunds.

6. Intellectual Property

The Grimoire app, including its original ritual content, prompts, tarot guidance, design, features, and functionality (excluding User Content), are owned by us or licensed to us and are protected by copyright and intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or sell our original content collections without permission.

7. Disclaimers and Limitations of Liability

• "As Is" Service: The App is provided "as is". We do not guarantee that the App will be error-free, uninterrupted, or suitable for every spiritual practice.
• Data Loss: Since User Content is primarily stored locally on your device, we are not responsible for loss of journal entries, tarot readings, ritual notes, favorites, or other personal content if your device is lost, damaged, reset, or if the App is uninstalled without a backup.
• Spiritual Outcomes: We do not guarantee any particular spiritual, emotional, personal, or practical outcome from rituals, tarot readings, prompts, or moon phase guidance.
• Limitation of Liability: To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, emotional, spiritual, or other damages arising from your use of the Service.

8. Notifications and Device Features

Optional notifications and reminders depend on your device settings and operating system behavior. We cannot guarantee delivery of all notifications, including moon phase, ritual, or daily practice reminders.

9. Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved through good faith negotiations, and if necessary, subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Türkiye.
