These Terms govern your use of the Shadow Prompts mobile application (“App”). The App is provided by Çağatay Erkin Eren (“the provider,” “we,” or “us”). By downloading or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
Shadow Prompts provides guided self-reflection prompts, a local journal for text entries and mood selections, optional voice notes, prompt packs, text and PDF exports, and optional daily reminders. Some prompt packs or other features may require a subscription or one-time purchase. Features may change or become unavailable as the App is updated.
The App is a self-reflection and journaling tool. It does not provide therapy, psychological counseling, diagnosis, treatment, or emergency services, and its prompts are not medical advice. If using a prompt causes distress, stop and seek help from a qualified professional. If you may be in immediate danger, contact local emergency services.
You retain your rights to the text, mood selections, and recordings you create. The App processes this content locally to provide its features and does not provide an account or cloud sync for journal content. You are responsible for protecting your device and deciding whether to export or share an entry.
The App’s archive delete action hides an entry and removes its associated mood record and voice-note file, but the current App stores the journal text in a soft-deleted database row. It does not permanently erase that text or provide a delete-all control. See the Privacy Policy for storage and deletion details. Keep any backup copies under your control; deleting the App or clearing its storage may remove local data, subject to your device’s backup settings.
The App may offer free features, auto-renewing subscriptions, and one-time purchases. The price, billing period, and applicable purchase terms are shown by the app store before you confirm a transaction.
We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for your own non-commercial purposes, subject to these Terms and the rules of the app store from which you obtained it. The App’s software, design, prompt collections, and other materials are owned by or licensed to the provider and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy or commercially distribute them without permission, except where applicable law allows.
If you obtained the App from Apple’s App Store, your use is also subject to Apple’s Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement and the applicable App Store terms. These Terms are between you and Çağatay Erkin Eren; Apple is not the provider of the App and is not responsible for its maintenance or support. Any product claims relating to the App should be directed to Çağatay Erkin Eren, subject to rights you may have under applicable law.
We work to keep the App available and reliable, but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. To the extent permitted by applicable law, the App is provided “as is,” and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of it. Nothing in these Terms limits a right or remedy that cannot lawfully be limited or excluded, including mandatory consumer rights.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye, without limiting any mandatory consumer protections that apply where you live. Disputes are subject to the competent courts and consumer authorities under applicable law.
