These Terms govern your use of the Petopia Pet Care Assistant mobile application ("Petopia" or "App"). By installing or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
Petopia helps you manage pet profiles, health and veterinary records, feeding schedules, calendar events, reminders, and pet-related expenses and budgets. The current App stores these records locally on your device. It does not provide Petopia accounts, cloud backup, or cross-device synchronization.
An internet connection may be needed for subscription verification, exchange-rate information, and any analytics or diagnostics enabled in the App build.
Petopia is not intended for children under 13. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may use Petopia only with any permission required from your parent or legal guardian.
Petopia does not require you to create a user account. You are responsible for the information you enter, for keeping access to your device secure, and for complying with applicable laws when using the App.

You retain your rights to the pet profiles, records, photos, and other information you enter in Petopia. The App processes and stores those records locally to provide its features. Petopia does not receive a general license to publish or distribute your locally stored records.
Our Privacy Policy explains local storage, analytics and diagnostic integrations, subscriptions, currency-rate requests, permissions, and privacy choices. The Terms do not replace any consent required for data processing.
Petopia and its original software, design, and content are owned by Petopia or its licensors. Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use the App for personal pet-care management on a compatible device. All rights not expressly granted remain with their owners.
The App may rely on Apple App Store or Google Play for distribution and subscription purchases, RevenueCat for subscription entitlement management, Aptabase for product analytics, Sentry for diagnostics, and Frankfurter for exchange-rate data. Availability and processing by those providers are subject to their own terms and privacy notices. Your use of the App must also comply with applicable app-store, device, and network-provider terms.
Some features may require a paid subscription. The price, billing period, trial (if offered), and renewal terms shown by the relevant app store at the time of purchase apply to that purchase. Apple or Google processes the payment; RevenueCat may help verify purchase receipts and subscription entitlements.
Subscriptions renew and may be cancelled under the applicable app-store terms. Manage or cancel an Apple subscription through your Apple Account settings, or a Google Play subscription through your Google Play account. Refund requests are handled under the applicable app-store policies.
Petopia is an organizational tool, not a veterinary service and not a substitute for diagnosis, treatment, or advice from a qualified veterinarian. Verify important medical information with a veterinarian and seek professional care for emergencies.
Reminders are scheduled on your device and depend on device settings, notification permissions, power, and operating-system behavior. Petopia cannot guarantee that a reminder will be delivered at a particular time. Do not rely on the App for emergency or continuous monitoring.
Your records are stored on your device. Petopia does not currently provide a Petopia account or cloud recovery service. You are responsible for any backup you choose to make through your device or another tool. A device backup may include app data under the platform's settings.
You can edit or delete records in the App. The current Settings > Data & Privacy > Clear Local Data action resets the main app database; some app preferences and unfinished setup information stored separately may remain. Removing the App may remove its local app data, but data included in a device backup may be restored later.
We may update, change, or discontinue features as the App evolves. The App and third-party services may be unavailable from time to time due to maintenance, device limitations, network conditions, or provider outages.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Petopia is provided on an "as available" basis. We do not guarantee uninterrupted operation, error-free functionality, or that local records will never be lost. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits a right or liability that cannot be excluded or limited by law.
To the extent permitted by law, Petopia is not responsible for losses caused by a device failure, a user-created backup, notification or network settings, or an interruption of a third-party service. This section does not limit your mandatory consumer rights.
You may stop using Petopia at any time by removing the App from your device. Because the current App does not create Petopia user accounts, there is no Petopia account to terminate. Local data and device backups are handled as described in Section 10.
We may restrict or discontinue access to the App where reasonably necessary to address misuse, security, legal requirements, or discontinued support, subject to applicable law.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye, subject to any mandatory consumer-protection laws that apply where you live. Disputes may be brought before a court with jurisdiction under applicable law. Nothing in these Terms prevents you from exercising rights that cannot legally be waived.
If you obtained Petopia from Apple's App Store, this section applies. These Terms are between you and Petopia, not Apple. Petopia, not Apple, is responsible for the App and its content.
